Make The Jinx more accessible -- in fact, every article in every issue in your pocket, with the ability to search, tag, and make notes wherever you want.
Jay Jennings is a computer programmer in the Southwest US who grew up in Alaska, lived on a commune, dropped out of school, graduated from Ringling Bros Clown College, worked as a radio DJ, fell in love at a juggling club meeting, adopted siblings, and wrote computer games and books.
Jay and his wife taught their two kids how to juggle so now when the family throws things at each other it's okay.
When not working his day job, Jay spends time coming up with new mentalism routines and trying to find places to perform them as he no longer does the "want to hire me?" thing. (Open-mic nights, watch out!)
The idea for Jinx Navigator came from The Jinx Experience by Julien Losa. He spent years retyping The Jinx making it easier to read and sending out issues via PDF. But PDFs aren't great (for me, at least) to read on a phone, so I came up with the idea to pull apart every article in put it into a database, which could then be formatted better for mobile devices.
If it hadn't been for Julien's work, Jinx Navigator would have taken much longer to create -- it would have been a chore instead of a pleasure.
